StatisticsThis screen is used in connection with the activities related to processing of conference proceedings. The top left-hand tables show the status of submission and initial processing of contributions uploaded to the server. The top right-hand tables show the status of quality assurance (QA), which is the checking of initially processed files, and the publishable status. Since only contributions that have been presented are eligible for publication in the conference proceedings, all posters must have been presented in the poster sessions. Poster session managers flag poster presentation status in the screen
The scripts, which produce the final publication package, ignore contributions which are processed and QA'd but not properly presented in poster sessions. Top left-hand table: Contributions: the number of contributions in the SPMS with programme codes expected to be. submitted to the proceedings Assignable: those contributions where files have been uploaded to the server for processing. No Files: the difference between the contributions and the assignable files, are the contributions for which an entry in the SPMS exists, but for which no files have been uploaded. Assigned: the number of contributions uploaded that have been assigned to editors for processing. QA Remaining: the number of papers that received green dots in the initial round of processing and which have successfully passed the second check (QA.) Final QA Failed: the papers that did not pass the second check (QA). Final QA Passed: the papers which, if properly presented in the poster sessions, will be recognized by the scripts pulling together the final JACoW publication package and included in the final publication package. Publishable: the papers with the status "Final QA Passed" minus any remaining under "Final QA Failed" or "QA Remaining". Initial Paper Status: this shows the allocation of dots during the first round of processing, the number and percentage of papers: Red dots are assigned to papers that could not be processed by the editor, for reasons noted by the editors in their reports, and that appear in the lower part of the screen. Yellow dots are assigned to papers which processed successfully, but which either required use of the source file by the editor, and hence the need for proofreading, or where the editor wishes to discuss various issues with the author to avoid future problems. Green dots are assigned to papers prepared using the templates or in accordance with the guidelines. The pie charts below the top tables show the status of processing. The table below the pie charts and to the left of the page show the platforms upon which authors prepared their papers and the processing status. The pie chart to the right shows the platforms in graphic form. The lower part of this page is divided into two tables: The first table shows the figures for all activities relating to the submission of abstracts, file upload, and processing. The second table shows the number and percentage of problems entered by editors when processing files. The problems encountered are entered into the screen
Instances of the SPMS are delivered with the most common errors made by authors, but the editor can add or remove as he/she sees fit. |
