- Tutorials & Presentations HANDOUTS
- First page has some questions about the website and experts page on the back. I would like to get your feedback on these two things before the end of the meeting. Should take only a few minutes. You can hand me back paper or email me, whichever is easiest for you.
- I'd like to talk about presentations for a minute. Current method of doing presentations—which was approved by the Board of Directors—has three main goals:
- Reduce demands on presenters and people working on documentation.
- Standardize presentations as a way to generate and maintain documentation that is resilient enough to be presented by anyone on the team (again, spreading the work around)—which will hopefully…
- Evolve into “self-sustaining” documentation that serves as tutorials for the team, with no separate tutorial section needed. Whole Organizers/Editors section will be a tutorial.
- Instead of documentation, tutorials, presentations we have "meta" documentation that is all three things.
- Hasn’t been a painless path, but we’re moving in the right direction to having sustainable documentation.
- It's important to move to this format to make organization/reorganization of information easier.
- Which brings me to the last handout...
