Light Peer Review (for IPACs)

Setup

To set up light peer review for an IPAC prior to opening of abstract submission, change the following settings on the Overall Database Administration / System Parameters / Experts/Referees page:

  • Refereed Conference: Set to partial
  • Referee Information Email: Set to the email address of light peer review coordinator
  • Referee Status Status Affects Publication in JACoW: Set to No
  • Referees Per Paper: Set to 2

This will add material for light peer review to two pages. After these changes, the main abstract management page will contain a form that allows SPMS users to "volunteer" for light peer review duty, and indicate their Main Classification expertise. The abstract submission page will also contain a pulldown box to permit users to indicate their interest in light peer review for the submitted abstract.
