Stand-Alone Installation
SPMS is available under General Public License (GPL) and can be used by anyone (e.g., for non-JACoW events) in stand-alone mode (membership in JACoW is required to use the profiles/affiliations repository).
Instructions
- Download the latest SPMS production version from sourceforge.
- Download the JACoW SPMS Conference Database Installation Instructions
- Execute the installation instructions step by step in order to:
- Set up the initial Oracle environment
- Create the database user for the conference
- Enable web access to the database
- Create the database schema with the conference repository
- Verify the SPMS web-interface
- Configure the conference by means of the system parameters
