NOTICE From the hotel management: We have been notified that Gay Street (in front of the hotel) will be closed between 10a-12p. This is a “hard close” meaning our Valet will not be operating and no vehicles will be permitted to pull up to the hotel during this time. Please have folks plan on checking out prior to 10a on 11/11. Otherwise, they might find it more difficult to depart with traffic after the parade. Welcome to Jacow Team Meeting, JTM2022. We are very pleased to invite you to join us in Knoxville, TN, USA on November 8-11, 2022. The invitation-only pre-team meeting is planned from 6-7 November. The venue is the Embassy Suites Knoxville, at 507 South Gay St, in downtown Knoxville. Map. The cost of the hotel room is about $115/day (excluding fees and taxes) and the registration cost is $390 (including banquet) per person. Coffee breaks are included but not lunches. Late registration fee, after Oct 24th, is $440. Participants will have an option to include days before the conference at the conference rate on first come first served basis and given the room availability at the hotel. We hope to get the registration page to be ready in the next few weeks. Dinner: The meeting dinner will be on Wednesday November 9th, 7 pm at the Kopita restaurant Attendance at Team Meetings: Team Meetings are organized in line with the JACoW Terms of Reference and Boundary Conditions. Attendance at meetings is a boundary condition for membership of the JACoW Collaboration and publication of conference proceedings on the JACoW site. The JACoW model ensures the sustainability of JACoW as accumulated knowledge and expertise is shared with newcomers who in turn provide the training for their successors.This Team meeting is part of the IEEE IPAC24 conference. IMPORTANT: At this point in time, we plan an in person only meeting with no online attendees For team members see the JACoW.org website JACoW Team Members & Roles page. Program: The TM'22 programme will cover not only electronic publication issues, but also the wider field of conference organisation (SPMS, Indico, delegate and exhibitor registration, organisation of OC/SPC meetings, etc.) as well as the very complex IT issues. The sessions in this meeting function as training for those organizing JACoW conferences. Pre-Team Meeting: An invitation only pre-team meeting for the JACoW Management, SPMS and Indico developers and super users, will be held on Sunday and Monday, 6 and 7 November, also at the Embassy Suites Knoxville.
