JBoD meeting #5 - January 27, 2014

3.1 - Next Templates for JACoW/IPAC14

During the last JTM a new template system was proposed, according to the study following the last Stakeholders' meeting requests and discussion among Gianluigi Arduini, Ivan Andrian and Christine Petit-Jean Genaz.

A discussion did take place with controversial opinions regarding the visual appearance of the possible new papers, against the more automated process and reference/abstract consistency.

A decision was not taken, instead it was decided to bring the discussion to the JBoD. Here we are asked then to take such a decision, weather to go towards this new process or not. An option would be to ask the Stakeholers for suggestions, via email.

It must be taken into consideration that the new templates seem to be already accepted by the IPAC14 OC/SC (as I understood), so a quick decision should be taken, also considering their comments on the matter.
